Job Opportunity: Senior Estimator - Structural Steel Fabrication

About Us: Frontline Fabrications is a thriving steel fabrication company specializing the in the full package of Steel fabrication and installation of structural steel. We are committed to excellence in project delivery and are currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our dynamic team.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Senior Estimator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our projects by accurately estimating costs and producing detailed quotes for our clients. Key responsibilities include:

Conducting thorough take-offs and producing comprehensive Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for tender submissions.
Collaborating with project teams to gather necessary information and specifications for accurate cost estimation.
Analysing project requirements and conducting cost value analysis to optimize project profitability.
Providing guidance and support to junior estimators as needed.
Assisting other project managers in job variation analysis.

Experience Required:

5+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, within the Australian structural steel fabrication industry. Please note the this is mandatory requirement.
Proficiency in conducting take-offs and producing BOQs, with a keen attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of cost estimating principles and methodologies.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct thorough cost value analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Benefits:

Open to negotiation on salary depending on experience. Base line $125,000 starting salary. negotiation / review of salary package will be considered after 3 months’ probation period.
