To support our projects with our customers in Australia QR_ is currently expending its activity and we are looking for several Mechanical Design engineers starting in April 2023.

Your role

As a Mechanical Design engineer, you will be working within our customers, focusing on the design and delivery of the product as well as the alignment to project requirements and Australian standards. You will be required to coordinate compliance assessments across a range of mechanical and electrical systems with relevant subject matter experts to align on project defined KPIs.

We are looking for proactive and influential individuals to join a small team in our new QR Australia branch. Successful candidates will be part of a growing organization and will have the opportunity to become a key part of this new team from the ground up.

As a consultant in mechanical engineering at ALTEN you will have the possibility to be involved in different roles and assignments, an example of possible task can be:

Concept development
Detailed part design
2D drawing creation
Prototyping
Testing and verification

Requirements

Nice to have:

Experience in Automotive, Railway (light train or freight) or Naval (Civil or Military) would be preferred
Experience with some of the following tools: Team Centre, Windchill
