Full-Time Position
Salary $70,000 - $90,000 per year
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineer or higher qualification
- Skill Level: 1
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the overhead crane industry or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to meet the English language requirements
- Registration or licensing may be required
Tasks & responsibilities
- Design and Development: Design and develop mechanical components and systems for overhead cranes, including hoists, trolleys, and bridge structures. Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Construction and Operation: Design, organise, and oversee the construction, operation, and maintenance of mechanical and process plants and installations.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our technical team and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs into production. Provide technical support and guidance as needed.
- Analysis and Testing: Perform detailed mechanical analysis, including finite element analysis (FEA), stress analysis, and fatigue analysis. Conduct prototype testing and validation to ensure reliability and safety.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Participate in safety reviews and risk assessments.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for design improvements and cost reductions. Implement innovative solutions to enhance product performance and reliability.
