We design, manufacture, and install modular buildings for education, affordable housing, mining, custodial and commercial sectors across all mainland Australian states. Our recreational vehicle work includes servicing as well as manufacture and distribute leading products. We work as One Fleetwood across our group of companies, including Building Solutions, Community Solutions and RV Solutions.
About the role:
Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, Fleetwood’s Welders play a key role within our manufacturing and build process. Our welders are an integral part of our team and are responsible for the delivery of high-quality work across a range of Fleetwood projects.
This position will be based out of our Smithfield facility. The position will work Mon-Fri with the option to work Saturday's available at times.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
- Construction of building frames in accordance with plans
- Maintaining high standards of quality
- Operation of machinery and/or equipment
- Following work health and safety policies and procedures at all times
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within individual work areas
- Performance of non-trade tasks as required.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Experience working as a Welder in a construction and/or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read/ interpret plans and specifications to determine dimensions, materials required and installation processes
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Construction Induction Card.
