An exciting opportunity for a Welder to join our fun, collaborative, and hardworking Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Bandiana near Wodonga. This is an opportunity to join Ventia in a role which provides a corridor for a great lifestyle outside of work!
About the role
Working within a small general engineering team, the Welder is required for quality welding associated with the maintenance of unique Defence vehicles and assets.
As a Welder you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs and authorised structural and component modifications to Defence vehicles, plant, equipment and components. You will be using a variety of welding methods including electric arc, MIG and TIG welding or oxyacetylene welding or by machine in accordance with instructions and procedure.

Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing or bathing them in acid solutions, or by applying protective or decorative coatings.
