Wood is currently recruiting for Welders / Pipefitters – based on site at Lytton, Queensland.
You will have the opportunity to become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for the ongoing maintenance at the Lytton Refinery.
At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place.
- A high level of OH&S knowledge to help maintain a high level of safety,
- Maintaining and repairing of mechanical apparatus, pipelines, and infrastructures,
- Provide maintenance work across the site,
- To be proactive in looking for ways to improve the reliability of equipment and reduce downtime,
- Able to work closely with Electrical / Instrument trades and Project Group.

Skills / Qualifications
- An Australian recognised Welding & Fitter Qualification/s,
- Boilermaker Trade Certificate,
- Driver’s License,
- Great communication skills (written and verbal),
- Exposure to working with Work Area Permit Systems,
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel),
- Understand P.ID and isometric Drawings,
- Working at heights,
- Confined space.
