About The Position.
As a direct result of the company’s success over the years, building their networks and establishing long term relationships, they are looking to make a strategic hire for a Senior Structural Engineer (RPEQ). You will liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally to meet the business’ goals. In addition, you will be managing the whole life cycle of their residential projects alongside the existing Structures team. You will be quoting, designing, and liaising with all stakeholders involved in the project to ensure a timely delivery.
DUTIES.
- Prepare design specifications and documentation using: Space Gass, ETABS, RAPT, and Inducta Package
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Train, mentor and play an active role in developing the junior team
- Attend client meetings, site visits and inspections
- Work as a team player to ensure deadlines are met
Skills And Experience.
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
- RPEQ status or in the process
- 5 years + experience required
- Must have a strong understanding of Australian BCA codes and standards
