The role

Estimating and tendering projects to $10M.
Coordinate estimate preparation, calculate/prepare quantities and compile proposals.
Establish and maintain business development.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Review tender documents assessing the scope, risks and tender complexity.
Conduct site inspections for understanding, analysis of conditions and assessment of risk if necessary.
Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients and subcontractors.

About you

3-5 years of experience in the structural steel industry.
The ability to produce Building Cost Estimates/Tender submissions with a high degree of accuracy and success.
Results-orientated and able to work autonomously and within a team environment.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Estimating Software (e.g. Strumis).
Ability to estimate from first principles.
