About The Role

We currently have an opening for a Technical Estimator and Design Draftsperson in our Coopers Plains, Brisbane Qld. Reporting to the National Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for:

Supporting Unique' s customers and clients through all issues relating to the
Laser cutting and fabrication of their products
Servicing our customer's needs and requests professionally, thoroughly and in a timely manner
Follow up with customer requests, including quotations, order processing, technical and general queries.
Assisting the production, sales, and customer service officers with technical support

About The Candidate

Experience in Manufacturing with a high degree of experience in drafting for manufacturing processes
An understanding of fabrication processes including, laser cutting, folding, welding and assembly processes
Experience with 3D design packages, preferably Inventor
Experience in Sheetmetal design
Ability to prepare bills of materials
Preparation of quotes
Good customer focus skills
Liaising with suppliers to source components
Good organisational and team working skills
An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience within the manufacturing industry
Excellent customer service / negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
Willing to learn brake press folding software
An understanding of quality management systems
A working experience of MS Office
