About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to support Redhill Civil's continued growth and diversification. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for civil FRP projects, with specific experience in rail and other infrastructure sectors. This role will require excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with various teams, and a strategic approach to business development.
As an Estimator at Redhill Civil, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing accurate and timely estimates for a range of civil projects, including rail and infrastructure works
- Working closely with the project management, engineering, and business development teams
- Supporting the preparation of tenders, proposals, and cost analysis
- Conducting site assessments and liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Reviewing project scopes and designs to ensure accurate pricing
- Identifying and managing risks to ensure profitability
- Contributing to business development initiatives and identifying new opportunities
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in estimating for civil and infrastructure projects, preferably within the rail sector
- Strong understanding of FRP materials and applications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proven track record in estimating, tendering, and business development
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach
